Leonard Gontarek is the author of: St. Genevieve Watching Over Paris, Van Morrison Can’t Find His Feet, Zen For Beginners, and Déjà Vu Diner. His poems have appeared in American Poetry Review, Fence, Field, Pool, Poetry Northwest, Blackbird, Verse, Hanging Loose, and The Best American Poetry (Paul Muldoon, editor). He appears in the anthologies Joyful Noise! American Spiritual Poetry, The Working Poet, and Dwarf Stars Science Fiction Poetry. He has been nominated five times for the Pushcart Prize.

Aziza Zenzile Kinteh is a Poet/Activist, Griot, Published Author, Vocalist, Educator, and Hair Culturalist, who utilizes her gift to uplift her culture, promote black womanhood in a positive light, and cultivate a consciousness for social change. Alumna of Eckerd College and Temple University’s School’s of Journalism and Communications, her poetry, editorials, and collective works, have been published worldwide. She has traveled extensively throughout the coast of West Africa, South and Central America, the Caribbean, Europe, and the West Indies. Aziza also conducts workshops on Natural Beauty Culture and lectures on her experiences with West African Cultures. Locally, she host a venues that provide an outlet for free form expressions of art and culture in the community: First Fridays on Vine, housed at Jose Sebourne’s Graphic Design and Art Gallery, in downtown Philadelphia She self published her first book of poetry entitled I Am Aziza* and her work is also featured in several anthologies. Aziza is currently working on the final touches of her second book of poetry, Traveling Lite, scheduled to hit the press very soon! She has also been working in the studio on an upcoming CD that will fuse her two passions, Poetry and Jazz.
