MPS: Róger Santiváñez, Celio Pichardo & Agnes Moncy

Róger Santiváñez, Celio Pichardo, and Agnes Moncy

Róger Santiváñez was born in Piura, in the northern Peru. He received his Ph.D. at Temple University. He belongs to the Neo-Baroque movement of Latin American Poetry Today. A couple of months ago, Roger published his book of poetry “Amaranth” in Madrid. He is currently a Visiting Professor at Bennington College, Vermont.
Celio Pichardo was born in the Dominican Republic. His poems were published in the book “Para español, marque 2. Escritores hispanoparlantes en Filadelfia” (“For Spanish, press 2. Spanish-speaking writers in Philadelphia.” NY: The Latino Press, 2010). He currently works at Temple University and lives in Philadelphia.

Agnes Moncy is an American poet and she has taught for years at Temple University. She has a new book called “Around Philadelphia.” In addition, she has translated spanish novels into the English language.
