Lynn Levin – Poet, writer, and translator Lynn Levin is the author of four collections of poems: Miss Plastique; Fair Creatures of an Hour, a Next Generation Indie Book Awards finalist in poetry; Imaginarium, a finalist for ForeWord Magazine’s Book of the Year Award; and A Few Questions about. She is co-author of a craft-of-poetry textbook, Poems for the Writing: Prompts for Poets. Birds on the Kiswar Tree, her translation of a collection of poems by the Peruvian Andean poet Odi Gonzales, will be published by 2Leaf Press in 2014. Lynn Levin’s poems have appeared in Ploughshares, Boulevard, Washington Square Review, Cimarron Review, 5 A.M., Kerem, Verse Daily, and on Garrison Keillor’s radio show The Writer’s Almanac. She has published essays in Southwest Review, Michigan Quarterly Review, Contemporary Poetry Review, Alimentum, and other places. Her short fiction appears in Cleaver, The Rag, and YARN. She teaches at Drexel and Penn.
Lynn Levin’s University of Pennsylvania Master of Liberal Arts creative writing students Elizabeth Doherty, Jackson Dunlap, Tri Hearons, Kelly Kaufman, Ben Kingsley, Allysia Murphy, Tom Pennington, Cat Prewitt, and Marion Smallwood will read their new poems at this exciting event.
