Phong Nguyen is the author of Pages from the Textbook of Alternate History (Queen’s Ferry Press, 2014) and Memory Sickness and Other Stories (Elixir Press, 2011), and Editor of Pleiades and Pleiades Press, for which he edited the volume Nancy Hale: On the Life and Work of a Lost American Master. His stories have appeared in literary journals throughout the country including Agni, Boulevard, North American Review, Massachusetts Review, Florida Review, Iowa Review, Mississippi Review, Oklahoma Review, Southern Indiana Review, New Ohio Review, Chattahoochee Review, New Letters, and Kenyon Review Online. He is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, Missouri, where he lives with his wife, the artist Sarah Nguyen, and their three children.
Kevin Grauke is the 2013 winner of the Texas Institute of Letters Steven Turner Award for Best First book of Fiction for his short story collection, Shadow of Men. His fiction has appeared in Fiction, The southern Review, blue Mesa Review, fiveChapters, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Story Quarterly, Quarterly West, Upstreet, and third Coast, as well as in many other literary journals. Currently, Kevin is at work on a novel-in-stories set in West texas. A native Texan, Kevin lives with his wife and two children in the Historic Germantown neighborhood of Philadelphia. He is Associate Professor of English at La Salle University, whee he teaches creative writing and American literature.
Hilary Plum is the author of the novel They Dragged Them Through the Streets. She is co-director of Clockroot Books and an editor with the Kenyon Review. With Zach Savich she edits Rescue Press’s Open Prose Series.
