Anisha Bhat, originally from Chicago, Illinois, is a writer and staff member
at Temple University where she directs research and creative programs for
undergraduates. She has an MPhil in World History from the University of
Cambridge and an MA in History from Northwestern University. In her free
time she can be found buying too many books at used book stores, eating at
the same five restaurants in South Philly, or working on her first poetry
chapbook.
Lester Norman Mobley was born on Long Island New York before moving
to Philadelphia at the age of 18 where he has remained ever since. He is a
retired union construction worker who has dabbled on and off with poetry as
far back to elementary school. His favorite poets whose style he attempts to
emulate in his writing are Charles Bukowski and Walt Whitman. Everyone
else, as he would always maintain, remain respectfully peripheral.
Joe Roarty won Moonstone’s first chapbook contest in 2015 for
Moritat, German for "street ballad." Poetry of high-octane energy,
passionate intelligence, supercharged, insistent blues, jazz &
heightened speech rhythms. His chapbook Showtunes was published
in 2023 by Iniquity Press.
Pat Rodgers is a poet based in West Philadelphia. His published work can be
found in Neptune and several Moonstone anthologies. Recall is the title of
his first chapbook
