Poems From Your Psyche

is a type of poetic expression which addresses the multiple psychological aspects of the human existence. April 24 is the 100th anniversary of The Ego and the Id by Sigmund Freud, an analytical study of the human psyche outlining Freud’s theories. It develops a groundwork for explaining various psychological conditions which result from powerful internal tensions. In honored of this by inviting poets to write a poem illustrating these tensions.
