People in the street demanding the end of systemic racism, recognizing that it is embedded as normal practice, leading to discrimination in criminal justice, employment, housing, health care, political power, education, and other issues. On May 25, 2020, George Floyd was killed, sparking demonstrations around the world which continue today and brought BlackLivesMatter to the forefront.
