*Sherman Alexie, a terrific writer and member of the Spokane Tribe, included this story in one of his books (I don’t remember which, all of his books are terrific). He was walking down the street in Seattle when a pick-up truck pulled up and a person leaned out and yelled “Go Back Where You Came From” and sped off. Sherman thought about it a moment and started to laugh and said “After You”.
