Register Here: \nhttps://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZ0sd-igqjgqHNESm_1z3fGzzgKz5Y4BBrb3 \n  \nTelicia Darius\, 2022-2023 Philadelphia Youth Poet Laureate\, is a senior at Hardy Williams Mastery Charter School in a dual enrollment program at Community College of Philadelphia. Telicia has participated in the Young Writer’s Workshop at Bard College and the Princeton University Summer Journalism Program. Telicia writes and performs in both English and French and is a member of the Hardy Williams Philly Slam League team. Telicia loves a good challenge and believes in the words of poetry. On poetry and the Poet Laureate position\, Telicia says “Poetry is the writer’s ink and the laureate is the platform\, giving the inaudible text a chance to speak.” \n王潇/Evan Wang is the first Youth Poet Laureate of Montgomery County\, Pennsylvania. His work has appeared in Violet Indigo Blue\, Etc.\, Philadelphia Stories\, National Poetry Quarterly\, and elsewhere. He is an alumnus of the Iowa Young Writers’ Studio and an Anaphora Fellow. Evan has performed his work at various venues such as the Oval XP\, ArtWRKD\, and The Rotunda at The University of Pennsylvania. His work has been featured at and recognized by Button Poetry\, Philadelphia Contemporary\, and Wawa Welcome America.
