Her work has been awarded the Pablo Neruda Prize\, Rattle Poetry Prize\, Gell Poetry Award\, Keystone Award\, and nominated over a dozen times for the Pushcart Prize. Her poems have been published widely in journals such as Beloit Poetry Journal\, 32 Poems\, Plume\, Thrush\, Tar River Poetry\, and Virginia Quarterly Review. Hayden is an actor with extensive theatre credits as well as appearances in Mindhunter\, House of Cards\, Outsiders\, Do No Harm and as the voice of a broken-down stove for Ikea.
