Frank Sherlock is the recipient of the 2009 CAC Sexiest Poem Award. He is the author of OVER HERE (Factory School, 2009) and a collaboration with Brett Evans entitled Ready-to-Eat Individual (Lavender Ink, 2008). Other publications include Daybook of Perversities & Main Events (Cy Gist Press, 2007), Wounds in an Imaginary Nature Show (Night Flag Books, 2007) and Spring Diet of Flowers at Night (Mooncalf Press, 2006). Karen Lillis is the author of the books i, scorpion: foul belly-crawler of the desert (Words Like Kudzu, 2000), Magenta’s Adventures Underground (Words Like Kudzu/New York Nights, 2004); and The Second Elizabeth (Six Gallery Press, 2009) – Author and blogger Karen Lillis is a keystone of Pittsburgh’s underground literary scene. The Virginia native, 41, moved to Pittsburgh in 2005 after 12 years in New York City. She blogs about small presses and indie bookshops at karenslibraryblog.blogspot.com and organizes readings by visiting authors.

Lillis, who works in the University of Pittsburgh’s Cultural Studies department, has just published her fourth full-length work of fiction, the novella Watch the Doors as They Close (Spuyten Duyvil).

Katie Haegele is the author of nearly a dozen zines, including The La-La Theory, Obsolete, and White Blackbirds. Her writing has appeared in The Utne Reader, Bitch, Adbusters, and The Philadelphia Inquirer, among others

Michelle Reale is an academic librarian on faculty at Arcadia University in the suburbs of Philadelphia. Her fiction has been published in a variety of publications including Smokelong Quarterly, elimae, Word Riot, The Los Angeles Review,Monkeybicycle and many others. Her fiction chapbook , Natural Habitat has just been released by Burning River. She has been twice nominated for a Pushcart Prize.
