Ryan Eckes, Rob Halpern & Laura Jaramillo
Ryan Eckes lives in South Philadelphia. He’s the author of Old News (Furniture Press 2011) and when i come here (Plan B Press 2007). More of his poetry can be found online and in various magazines and papers. He works as an adjunct English professor at Temple and CCP.
Rob Halpern teaches in the English Department at Eastern Michigan University. He is the author of Rumored Place (Krupskaya, 2004), which was nominated for a California Book Award; Disaster Suites (Pam Press 2009); and Music for Porn (Nightboat Books, 2011), as well as several chapbooks.
Laura Jaramillo is a poet from Queens and author of Material Girl ($16 Subpress –SPD) . She is the author of chapbooks The Reactionary Poems (olywa press, 2008) and Civilian Nest (Love Among the Ruins, 2010). MATERIAL GIRL (Subpress, 2012) is her first full-length book of poems. She writes on transnational cinema and immigration at Duke University, where she is pursuing her PhD. Her poems have been translated into Spanish and Persian.
