Charles S. Carr, Former head of CCIS North (Child Care Information Services,) currently Vice President of Philadelphia Center for Family Development and a poet, author of Haitian Mud Pies and Other Poems (Moonstone Press). Deborah Fries is a poet, non-fiction writer and experienced public affairs professional who has been employed as a spokesperson by two state agencies. She has served as a manuscript reader for Kore Press, editorial board member and columnist for Terrain.org: A Journal of the Built & Natural Environments, and provides editing and publicity services for nonprofits, and teaches poetry and prose workshops in person and online.
Ray Garman is a poet, author of “Crossing Waters”, and photographer, activist and an entrepreneur. He is CEO of Combine-X Holdings, a private company with operations in superfoods, technology and agribusiness.
Sean Hanrahan is a poet originally hailing from Dale City, who has also lived and loved in Harrisonburg, VA; Washington DC; NYC; and Philadelphia. His is the author of Hardened Eyes on the Scan (Moonstone Press) and has been published in several anthologies published by Moonstone, including the Poetry Ink, Philadelphia Says: Not Our President, and Featured Poets. Warren Longmire is a Philly native, expert level whistler, pushcart nominee, former poetry editor at Apiary Magazine and author of The Wyoming Default (Moonstone Press), Ripped Winters, and Do.Until.True. Alina Macneal is a Philadelphia-based educator/writer/poet/translator/architect and co-host of the Fourth Wednesday Moonstone poetry series at Fergie’s. Her poems have appeared in Apiary, Poems for the Writing, The World to Come, and Poetry 24. In 2015 she was a finalist for the Raynes poetry prize. She has been a member of the faculty at Drexel University for over 20 years. Since the last presidential election, Alina has been translating the 1930’s political poems of the Polish poet, Julian Tuwim. As Mark Twain said, “History doesn’t repeat itself, but it often rhymes.”
Elijah Pringle III is a Philadelphia based poet who published three chapbooks of poetry and prose. His work has been featured in the Edison Poetry Review, Minority Interchange’s IMpact, The God’s Must Be Bored, Fox Chase Poetry Review, River Poetry Journal, The River. He has lectured on poetry in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, DC, Minneapolis, and San Francisco. Larry Robin was president of Robin’s Bookstore, the oldest independent book store in Philadelphia, until it closed in December 2012, co-founder of Moonstone Inc., director of the Moonstone Arts Center, and has served on the boards of the Pennsylvania Center for the Book, the Read Aloud Coalition of Philadelphia and The American Booksellers Foundation for Free Expression as well as other arts committees.
Jennifer Stanton serves as Chief Financial Officer for Communally, the antipoverty technology company. She is responsible for directing and coordinating the accounting activities, budgeting, and developing financial strategies.
