mel brakeMel Brake   is Founder and Executive Director of MPW Foundation, a non-profit organization focusing on using the arts to reach children in the tri-state area. He is an awarding winning Philadelphia based poet/singer/song writer and author of Obama Poetry Project. His poetry has appeared in several media outlets and journals, including Philadelphia Poets 2007, 2008 and 2009, Mad Poets Review, Fox Chase Review, The Philadelphia Bulletin. In addition, Long Island Sounds: An Anthology of Poetry, Writing Outside The Lines (WOSTL) Anthology, Word Riot Magazine, The New Verse News, Word Salad Magazine and Poetry Ink 2010 has published his works. Recently, his band, the Mel Brake Family Band performed a benefit concert at Cross Road Café in Delaware County.

dianesahms-guarnieriDiane Sahms-Guarnieri’s first full-length collection of poetry, Images of Being, (StoneGarden.net publishing) was released October 2011. She is the recipient of the 2013 A.E. Ventures Foundation Grant for Poetry; Poet in Residence at the Ryerss Museum and Library; and the recipient of 2014 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania House of Representatives Citation for over a decade of community volunteerism in the promotion of the art of poetry in Philadelphia.  Her work has been published widely in the small and electronic press. gemilreutterg emil reutter lives and writes in the Fox Chase neighborhood of Philadelphia where he founded The Fox Chase Review and The Fox Chase Reading Series.  Eight collections of his poetry and prose have been published by Stonegarden.net, Blazevox Books and Persistenica Press. Most recently Carvings in November 2010.
