Richard S. Bank graduated from Villanova Law School in 1968 and took up the practice of law, first in general practice and beginning in 1972, as a public defender. Bank also taught trial advocacy as an adjunct in Villanova law school as well as Criminal Justice at Villanova University and Poetry at the Philadelphia writer’s conference. He has won an International Merit in Poetry award from the Atlanta Review, among others. His work has appeared in numerous publications, including The Legal Studies Forum, which is published by West Virginia Law School; he has also been in two anthologies and is archived on line through University of Texas Law School.
